- What type of community is Villa Gardens?
Villa Gardens is a non-profit, continuing care retirement community
designed for active seniors age 62 and over. It is fully licensed
by the California Department of Social Services.
- How does the entrance fee plan work?
Your entrance fee is an initial investment in the future cost of your long-term care at Villa Gardens. Entry fees vary by type and size of accommodation. Our marketing representative will assist you with additional information when you visit.
- How much do the rates go up each year?
Rate increases are reviewed annually by the Board of Directors based upon several factors that drive costs at each community. Historical rate increases are available for your review when you visit.
- Who will take care of me in the event of a medical emergency?
A 24-hour emergency response system is available in all levels of care and your needs will be assessed by our trained staff to determine how best to handle the emergency.
- Can I have a pet?
Yes, we accept many types of pets including dogs under 30 pounds and cats. These are the most common pets at Villa Gardens.
- How many people live in Villa Gardens?
Approximately 220 in Independent Living, 38 in Assisted Living and 54 in our Skilled Health Care Center.
- Where will I park my car?
You will have access to parking in our secured parking garage. Guest parking is also available at various locations around the building.
- What do my monthly fees include?
One meal per day, weekly housekeeping, all utilities except for cable and telephone, scheduled transportation within Pasadena and a variety of planned social opportunities.
- What happens if my health needs change?
Several options are available. In addition to independent living, Villa Gardens makes available assisted living, skilled nursing and catered living.
